Iza Calzado is a Filipina actress.  She was born on August 12, 1982 in Quezon City, Philippines.  Her real name is Maria Izadora Ussher Calzado. Her father is Lito Calzado, a choreographer and TV director. Her mother is of Irish-Spanish-Filipina descent, the late Mary Ann Ussher.

Iza Calzado started her career in show business as a dubber in a Mexican telenovela. She then guest showed in a TV teen show entitled Click and then eventually she was given other roles.
