They say diamonds are a girl’s best friend. So, Bollywood actress Sonakshi Sinha must be heart-broken, as her diamond jewellery worth lakhs went missing while she was shooting for Joker with Akshay Kumar.It happened during a late night shoot of Joker at Film City. The Dabangg actress realized that her diamond solitaire earrings had gone missing from her vanity van when she returned after a walk. She searched for it but in vain. However, sources from the film sets said that she remained calm and continued shooting instead of raising a ruckus.
“My birthday was on May 24 and the cast and crew were ushering it in on the sets. Akshay (Kumar) had planned a celebration. This is when Sonakshi's diamond solitaire earrings went missing from her vanity van. The theft occured at Film City. Sonakshi's diamond solitaire earrings were stolen. A police complaint has been launched,” Mid-Day quoted director Shirish Kunder as saying.
Well, Sonakshi must have learnt a big lesson – that diamonds are not forever!
