She was invovled in a controversy in May 2009. A sex tape circulated in the internet involving her and another actor and model Hayden Kho. It became so controversial it was investigated in senate. The sex tape was released without the consent of Katrina and she admitted herself, she did not know that it even existed. She became the top sexiest women in FHM magazine for two consecutive years, in 2006 and 2007.
